MANAWATU CAR CLUB 75TH ANNIVERSARY WINTER SERIES

2022 marks 75 years for the Manawatu Car Club. To celebrate, this year’s winter series will be known at the Manawatu Car Club 75th Anniversary Winter Series.
Thanks to Feilding Auto Electrical for continuing to support the series and the club. We’re looking forward to another huge year of winter racing, culminating in a special MCC 75th Anniversary Motorsport Festival at the final round in September.
The final round of the 2022 Winter Series will be a motorsport festival weekend at Manfeild. You’ll see classic car displays, super cars, vintage racers, specialty race cars, drifters, rally cars and more!
The Historic and Vintage Racing Association will be running in September alongside our usual winter series classes. This weekend is not to be missed! Come out to Manfeild and join in on the celebrations.
Spectator admission is FREE for the whole series

75th Anniversary Winter Series Prize Giving
75th Anniversary Winter Series Prize GivingJoin us to celebrate our Winter Series winners and the presentation of class trophies.
This year we’re heading to the Feilding Civic Centre 84 Aorangi Street, Feilding and the evening will include dinner. BYO alcoholic drinks if you would like to. No alcohol will be served at the venue.
Doors open at 5pm and the prize giving starts at 5:30pm.
Cost: $25 per person to pay for your meal. Venue hire and prizes will be covered by the club.
We’ve had a very eventful season this year and it would be great to see you there!

Wide range of Mack Trucks on display with food stalls, raffles, merchandise, access to car & truck racing and much more.
Event concludes with a track parade around the Manfeild racetrack Saturday afternoon.
Spectator admission: Adults $10 per day, kids FREE. Gate sales only. Includes the Truck Show.
*Sunday Lunchtime Charity Circuit Cruise supporting Manchester House. Road cars only, All drivers must register in the Secretary’s Office*

Test Day Saturday, Race Day Sunday
RS Cup: Slower than 1:30.00
SF Cup: Between 1:25.00 and 1:30.00
IB Cup: Between 1:20.00 and 1:25.00
GT Cup: GT-B Between 1:15.00 and 1:20.00, GT-A No target time
Here’s how it will work:
- Two Test & Tune Sessions, RS Cup/ SF Cup and IB Cup/ GT Cup
- Race 1 Marble-Draw Rolling start
- Race 2 Scratch based on fastest lap time in Race 1
- Race 3 Reverse grid based on the finishing order of Race 2 before penalties
- Race 4 Handicap based on the second fastest lap time
Manawatu Car Club Xmas Party for kids of all ages and Charity Circuit Cruise supporting Manchester House during the lunch break
