Join us to celebrate our Summer Series winners and the presentation of some very special Volunteer Awards.

βͺ 32 Fergusson Street, Feilding from 5:30pm
Doors open for mingling from 5:15pm, with prize-giving starting around 5:45pm.
Dinner/ dessert will follow prize-giving approximately 6:30pm – 6:45pm.
Cost is $40.00 per head. Marshals & Volunteers are FREE*
Includes buffet dinner, desert, tea/coffee and 2 complimentary drinks. There is no BYO but there is a bar should you wish to purchase more.

Venue Access: The Grass Oval, Kawakawa Road, Feilding. Access via the double gate opposite Darragh Road
The Event:Β Two Grass Motorkhana tests to get you all warmed up, then the Grass Autocross for the rest of the day. Further details to follow..
Classes:
- NAFWD- normally aspirated front-wheel-drive
- NARWD- normally aspirated rear-wheel-drive
- FI2WD+NA2WD over 3500cc- forced induction 2WD plus normally aspirated 2WD over 3500cc
- FI4WD- forced induction 4WD
Road cars, daily drivers, race cars, rally cars, BOS cars are all welcome provided they pass scrutineering. Road tyres only- no rally tyres or snow tyres. Fire extinguishers are not required, but recommended
- All vehicles entering the grass autocross in the afternoon require approved helmet, overalls and fire extinguisher.
Handy Hints:
- Check you car’s oil, water, fuel, brake fluid, tyres, wheel nuts, brake pads, bonnet latch etc. Put extra in a bit of extra engine oil to allow for oil surge on the turns
- After each run open the bonnet to let out the heat and check everything again
- Make sure you have plenty of fuel in the tank. Fuel surge can starve your engine and cause damage
- HAVE FUN!
Safety Gear
We encourage you to buy the best protective gear you can. The requirements for Clubsport Basic can be found under Safety Critical ItemsΒ HERE
As a minimum you need 100% cotton overalls with tight-fitting cuffs and collar, full-length cotton or woolen underwear and socks, leather shoes and a helmet that complies with MSNZ Schedule A. No flammable clothing such as lycra, nylon, microfibre, or similar for obvious reasons.

4 drift short-section cone work with experienced tutors at each section. You’ll get a couple of hours at each section on a rotation.
Big corners, small corners, u turns, find flow, and practice car control.
Entry to the Back Track is via the driveway next to the Manawatu Car Club clubrooms, 120 Kawakawa Road, Feilding
Learn and develop your drifting skills in the cone zones on the Back-Track at Manfeild.
Includes a variety of cone work sections and instruction by experienced drift competitors.
You will be put in groups and move from section-to-section during the day
- Before race day:Β Fill in the entry and pay online
- On the day sign the indemnity form
- On the day, line up on the track in your groups to have your car safety checked
β If caged, it must be a Motorsport NZ homologated roll cage with logbook
β Where a roll cage is fitted harnesses must be installed using correct mounting and plates
β Factory seat belts can be used where a cage is not fitted
β Helmet in good condition
β Overalls in good condition (100% cotton or FR fire retardant with under garments or SFI/FIA approved race suit)
β Approved footwear, leather or race boots
β Wheel nuts (ALL)
β Exhaust secure
β Bonnet pins (if not using factory latch)
β NO fluid leaks PLEASE CHECK.
β Oil and water catch cans / overflow (if not factory)
β Battery secure (4x M6 bolts if not factory)
β Insulated battery terminals
β Seats secure (4x bolts)
β Seatbelts / Harnesses (in date: SFI current to label expiry date, FIA label expiry date plus 5 years)
β Brakes (solid pedal)
β Door cards
β Batteries must be mounted using at least 4 x M6 bolts securing battery to floor (not just bolted through the battery box)
β Non sealed batteries must be in a box and vented outside the car
β Fire extinguisher 1kg with two metal straps (CHECK GAUGE) Securely mounted with 2 M6 bolts with large washers
β Fuel cell / surge tank? *IF YES ENSURE FULL SEALED REAR FIREWALL IS FITTED*
