NOTE NEW PROTECTIVE CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS
The MINIMUM standard for Clubsport Basic is 100% cotton overalls and 100% wool underwear, 100% cotton or 100% wool calf-length socks, leather shoes.

The refresh format to the Transpec GT Oil Events is aimed to provide more bang for your buck, a heap of seat time, but also offer an introductory and entry level event for new and junior drivers to feed in to our Summer & Winter Series Rounds. With driver coaching and training available it’s the perfect place to start your Motorsport career.

An experienced race driver will offer driver training sessions in the morning before the first run. This is a must for rookies and highly recommended to anyone who wants to improve their driving.

TIMING: You are welcome to use your own method of timing or you have the option to hire a club transponder on your entry form. You can also provide your own to monitor your lap times on Speedhive.

Classes

We run the following classes in this event, to separate different power and capability levels of vehicles: (your estimated lap time is selected on your event entry form to collate groups)

(Group 4) – Saloons slower than 1:30:00:

(Group 3 & 2 split evenly) – Saloons faster than 1:30:00:

(Group 1) – Saloons faster than 1:20:00:

Group 4 also caters to new/junior drivers. Driver training and coaching available. Speed limited to 100kmph*

Vehicle Safety Requirements

Road cars are welcome. For dual-car sprints as a minimum the vehicle must have installed a minimum 0.9kg dry powder twin-strap fire extinguisher, mounted using minimum M6 size bolts and nuts, within reach of the driver. If your vehicle does not have a MSNZ logbook it will be scrutineered prior to each round to ensure safety.
