Single and Dual Car Sprints (Open Day Series)

The Track Day Series consists of timed fast laps on the Manfeild: Circuit Chris Amon 3.03km circuit, with Live Timing and results available on the Race Monitor App.

An experienced race driver will offer driver training sessions in the morning before the first run.  This is a must for rookies and highly recommended to anyone who wants to improve their lap times.  All drivers will be invited to ‘follow the leader’ for two laps to get a feel for the track before the runs begin.

Competitors go out on a warm up lap, then cross the line at full speed to start their first timed lap.  Three laps are timed before the race end flag, then a cool down lap back to the pits.  There are three timed sessions for each competitor and if time permits further untimed sessions at the end of the day.

Autocross

These events are timed runs from point to point, on either the front or back tracks, or sometimes the entire circuit combined.  Competitors go from a standing start, through a course including cones, corners and straights, and come to a full stop in a coned off area.  Classes are the same as those run in the sprint events, clothing and vehicles requirements the same also.
